New premises for financial advisory firm

Our clients, one of Malta’s leading multi-disciplinary audit and advisory firms, commissioned us to assess the adequacy of the building services systems and infrastructure vis-à-vis their own business demands for a new site which they were considering to move into as a result of company expansion.

What we did was to investigate the earmarked site particularly in terms of whether systems such as the electrical power supply, HVAC, and fire safety, were fit for purpose. We prepared review reports and supported the client with strategic advice, also by liaising with the site owner to see whether it would be possible to upgrade the infrastructure in some cases.

As a result of this project, our client greatly reduced the risk of renting and entering into new office premises that would hinder future business expandability, avoiding serious challenges such as inadequate firefighting systems, and insufficient space for back-up generators.
