Ventilation Report

Very often, the Planning Authority requests an engineer’s report about ventilation. This report needs to certify that the premises are adequately ventilated.

As building engineers with a strong knowledge of ventilation systems, we study the architectural design and uses of all the rooms of the development, whether it is being proposed as a new one, or else it is to be sanctioned development, and we assess whether the minimum ventilation effectiveness as prescribed by the relevant standards shall be achieved.

In cases where the ventilation of a building is not adequate, the engineer’s report will include direction of how minimum levels of acceptable ventilation can be achieved either by natural or by mechanical means.
