As the company’s business strategy advisor, Sonya keeps her eyes on the long-term vision, constantly vigilant for hidden risks and emerging opportunities. Before joining Sammut & Associates in 2015, Sonya had occupied top management positions in the public sector, serving as a technical expert and policy advisor to Malta’s political leaders in the agriculture, environment, and climate action sectors, areas in which she lends her unique knowledge with supreme excellence. One of her notable traits is her ability to transform the ambiguous into the innovative, by integrating a broad spectrum of ideas into complex patterns. In all her ventures as a developer scientist, Sonya is driven by her passion for people and nature to create solutions for humans in society.
